Marrakech → Ait Ben Haddou → Ouarzazate
Your adventure begins with a thrilling ride over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m), offering panoramic High Atlas views. Stop at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed ksar used in Gladiator and Game of Thrones. End in Ouarzazate, the "Hollywood of Morocco," where you can visit Atlas Film Studios.
Ouarzazate → Dades Gorge → Tinghir
Ride through the Valley of Roses and into the dramatic Dades Gorge, known for its winding "Monkey Fingers" rock formations. Continue to Tinghir, gateway to the stunning Todgha Gorge, where 300m-high cliffs tower above.
Tinghir → Erfoud → Merzouga (Sahara Desert)
Enter the Sahara via Erfoud, famous for its fossils. Arrive in Merzouga, where the golden Erg Chebbi dunes await. Take a camel trek at sunset and spend the night in a luxury desert camp under the stars.
Merzouga → Ziz Valley → Fes
Leave the desert and ride through the Ziz Valley, a lush oasis with towering palm groves. Climb into the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing cedar forests and Berber villages before arriving in Fes, Morocco’s cultural and spiritual heart.
Exploring Fes (Guided Tour)
A full day to discover Fes el-Bali, the world’s largest medieval medina (UNESCO-listed). Visit the Al Quaraouiyine University, tanneries, and artisan quarters. Optional evening food tour.
Fes → Meknes → Khenifra
Ride to Meknes, another Imperial City, to see Bab Mansour and Moulay Ismail’s Mausoleum. Continue through rolling farmland to Khenifra, a gateway to the Middle Atlas.
Khenifra → Ouzoud Waterfalls
Journey to Ouzoud Falls, Morocco’s tallest waterfalls. Enjoy a hike down to the cascades, with optional boat ride. Stay overnight in a nearby lodge.
Ouzoud → Marrakech
Return to Marrakech via scenic backroads. Arrive in time to explore Jemaa el-Fnaa square and enjoy a farewell dinner.
